Teams

Your team is your company’s AMPER Flow account — one team holds one company’s workspace, with its own customers, jobs, assets, materials, and everything else in the system. Every user belongs to at least one team, and everything they do happens within the context of that team.

Most companies only ever have one team. Some people do work across multiple teams (for example, a contractor supporting several clients) and can switch between them.

  • Name — your company or organisation name
  • Domain — the unique web address your workspace lives at. This is set automatically when the team is created and can’t be changed afterwards.
  • Currency — the currency used for pricing throughout the workspace (USD, EUR, or PLN)
  • Members — everyone with access to this workspace, along with their role
  • Pending invitations — people who’ve been invited but haven’t joined yet
  • Subscription — the billing plan the team is on

Team name and currency are managed from Manage Team. Only the account Owner can change them:

  • Only the Owner can rename the team or change its currency.
  • Everyone else — including Administrators — can view these settings but not edit them.
  • Currency can’t be changed once the team has an active paid subscription. To bill in a different currency, the subscription needs to be replaced first.

Every member has one role on the team, which determines what they can see and do. See Roles and Permissions for the full breakdown.

RoleSummary
OwnerThe person who created the workspace (or was made Owner). Full control, including billing and deleting the account. There is normally exactly one Owner.
AdministratorManages the team day-to-day: members, invitations, and settings — everything short of billing-level and Owner-only actions.
DispatcherRuns operations — sees and manages all jobs, customers, assets, and materials across the whole team.
EmployeeA field technician or limited user — sees only the jobs and records assigned to them.

New members join through an invitation sent to their email address — there’s no way to add someone directly without inviting them first. See Invitations for the full flow, including how pending invitations, resending, and cancelling work.

Anyone can remove themselves from a team (leaving it). Removing someone else requires the Administrator or Owner role — see Roles and Permissions for the exact rules, including protections that stop a team from being left without an Owner or Administrator.

On paid plans, each member and each pending invitation counts as one license (seat). Sending an invitation that would exceed the number of licenses currently purchased prompts a confirmation to add another license before the invitation goes out. Billing and plan details are covered separately in the subscription documentation.

Deleting a team removes the workspace and all of its data permanently, including all customers, jobs, and records. This can only be done by the Owner. Any member who isn’t part of another team is also permanently removed as a user. This action cannot be undone.
