Service Plans
Service Plans are recurring maintenance or service agreements tied to a customer. They define what service is provided, how often, and under what terms — and can be linked to projects, installed equipment, and jobs.
What a service plan contains
Section titled “What a service plan contains”- Name — a label for the plan
- Customer — who the plan is for
- Project — the project this plan belongs to, if applicable
- Installed equipment — the specific equipment covered under this plan
- Start date / End date — the active period of the agreement
- Recurrence — how often service visits are scheduled (e.g. monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Description — terms, scope, or any additional detail
How service plans work
Section titled “How service plans work”A service plan represents the agreement. The actual work is carried out through jobs. When a recurring visit is due, a job is created and linked back to the service plan so there is a clear record of what has been performed under the agreement.
Service plans give you a way to track which customers have active maintenance contracts, what equipment is covered, and when the next service is due.
