Crews

A crew is a named group of technicians. Crews are useful when you regularly send the same group of people to jobs together and want to assign work at the crew level rather than selecting individuals one by one.

Go to Assets → Crews to see all crews. The list shows each crew’s name and whether it’s currently active.

Click Add crew and fill in:

  • Name — something descriptive, like “Elevator Team North” or “HVAC Squad B”
  • Active — whether this crew is currently operational
  • Members — select the technicians who belong to this crew

You can add as many members as needed. A person can be in more than one crew.

Open any crew from the list. You can update the name, toggle it active or inactive, and add or remove members.

Removing someone from a crew doesn’t affect their existing job assignments — it only means they won’t be included when this crew is assigned to future jobs.

Set a crew to Inactive if it’s no longer used. Inactive crews are hidden from the default list view but can still be found if needed. Reactivate by editing the crew and toggling the status back to active.
